POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior HRIS Specialist is responsible for managing, optimizing, and enhancing the organization's Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role focuses on system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical support for HR technology initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience with HRIS system build-outs, process automation, and reporting, preferably in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group).

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties maybe assigned.

  • Promotes and provides excellent guest service experience to both internal and external guests.
  • Supports manager and team by ensuring accurate data entry, maintaining system security, and upholding compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Maintain strict confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Utilize strong data analytics skills to interpret information and drive informed business decisions.
  • Oversee the accuracy and integrity of data within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of new HR technology solutions, including system enhancements and integrations.
  • Streamline HR processes by leveraging technology to improve efficiency and minimize manual tasks.
  • Collaborate with IT, Payroll, and HR teams to align system capabilities with business needs and ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Develop and manage HR dashboards, reports, and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide technical support to HR team members and end-users, troubleshooting issues and conducting training sessions as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and updates of the HRIS to ensure data accuracy and compliance. Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directly supervises multiple personnel.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training team members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining team members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of HRIS experience, preferably with UKG or similar HR technology systems required.
  3. Knowledge of all federal and state laws.
  4. Knowledge of Tribal HR preferred.
  5. Experience with system integrations, process automation, and data analytics.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, or similar data management tools is a plus.
  7. Must be well organized, detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
  8. Minimum of 2 years of Supervisory experience required.
  9. Experience in HRIS system build-outs and implementation projects.
  10. Knowledge of business process mapping and workflow automation.
  11. Advanced skills in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite Software, email, HRIS and enterprise specific programs.
