ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

  • Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
  • Prepare and set up equipment that results in the optimal operation of equipment, the minimization of technical difficulties, a positive guest perception and adequate on-site technical expertise to answer technical questions.
  • Performs routine inventory on lighting, audio and video equipment and systems; update maintenance and inspection records as directed.
  • Assisting in preparing production schedules and timelines 
  • Ability to operate a specific entertainment production discipline, to include: Audio, Lighting/Electrics (static, moving and motion control) or Video.
  • Experience in advancing entertainment related to technical requirements.
  • Maintains proper inventory of all consumable items and equipment, parts and supplies.
  • Maintains a safe working environment at all times by adhering to established safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in miscellaneous activities and various special projects are requested are requested to assure maximum efficiency in the showroom and other departments as required.
  • Maintain all paperwork and documentation related to the entertainment production equipment.
  • Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.
  • Reviewing the production budget and suggesting improvement measures

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position oversees the Production Coordinator (s).

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) years of professional stage technician experience and/or training in the general use of audio, lighting and video equipment in entertainment production. Preferably in a multi-use production facility.
  • Prefer experience with Yamaha, Shure and Meyer (audio), Ma, ETC and Martin (lighting), and Extron, Digital Projection and Panasonic (video).
  • Knowledge of at least one specific entertainment production discipline, to include; Audio, Lighting/Electrics (static, moving and motion control) or Video.
  • Basic understanding of principles and routing of signal or power, installation/strike, related to computer operations, digital communication, testing, troubleshooting, and field and bench repairs.
  • Must possess a valid AZ driver's license and clean driving record for the past five (5) years.
  • Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guests, interact positively with our guests, listen actively to our guests and appreciate our guests.
  • Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
