Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting with creating improved financial performance at an individual casino location through marketing activities, promotions and direct mail in order to increase casino clientele and repeat visits by patrons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Promotes and provides excellent guest service experience to both internal and external guest
  • Develops promotional themes, writes copy and edits proofs promotional collateral.
  • Works with department director to develop proposals and detailed outlines for special events, for approval, and coordinates all event logistics to ensure outstanding promotion execution.
  • Takes all steps necessary to attract new and repeat patrons.
  • Establishes effective communication to maintain a constant flow of information downward, upward and laterally and establishes an atmosphere that ensures a favorable experience for players.
  • Monitors marketing and event costs, an ensure budgetary compliance.
  • Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises multiple employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. 

Skills / Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in Management/Marketing preferred.
  • Marketing experience required, preferably within a gaming environment. 
  • Supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest. 
  • Must have intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite software.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and agree to maintain a Drug-Free Workplace as a condition of employment.
  • Must pass a full background check to be certified/licensed prior to employment.
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
