Job Description

This position oversees all lodging room subjects for the hotel related to front line guest service while providing either direct or consultative supervision in subject area such as pricing inventory, complimentary offerings, and day-to-day operations, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promotes and provides excellent guest service experience to both internal and external guests.
  • Collaborates with other management team members to ensure revenue and profitability growth for the enterprise, while executing specific job responsibilities in pursuit of those two outcomes.
  • Ensures full coordination between functional teams such as maintenance, housekeeping, and front desk as it relates to room availability, location and condition.
  • Manages all scheduling for guest service departments including front desk, concierge and hotel valet/bellman.
  • Works with Revenue Audit to maintain clean bank drops and accurate paperwork. 
  • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.


Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises multiple staff members. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assisting, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Skills / Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required: Associate's degree in business/management/hospitality preferred.
  • Three (3) years of hotel supervisory or management experience required.
  • Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guests, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest. .
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Skills in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite Software, email and enterprise specific programs.
